Accessibility statement

Cultured Digital Ltd wants as many people as possible to be able to use cultureddigital.co.uk. This statement explains how accessible the website is, what we have checked, what we have not yet checked, and how to tell us about a problem. Last updated 14 October 2026.

Our standard

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. The Equality Act 2010 asks service providers to make reasonable adjustments so disabled people are not put at a disadvantage, and WCAG 2.2 AA is the benchmark we hold the site to.

What we have checked

  • Automated testing with axe-core on each type of page: the home page, service pages, articles, beginner guides, the glossary, tool pages and the contact page. We fixed what it found.
  • HTML validation with the W3C Nu HTML Checker on the same page types.
  • Keyboard use: the navigation, links, buttons and form fields can be reached with a keyboard, there is a “Skip to content” link, the navigation drop-down menus open and close with the keyboard, and focus is shown with a visible outline.
  • Zoom and small screens: pages reflow down to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Motion: animations are short, and they are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.

What we have not yet checked

  • We have not yet tested the whole site with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver. We will do this and update this page with the results.
  • Automated tools find only some accessibility problems, so there may be issues they cannot detect.
  • Our checks covered one page of each type, not every page. Pages of the same type share the same templates.

Known limitations

  • Parts of the contact form come from third-party software, so we cannot guarantee every detail of its code.
  • Some articles link to other websites, which we do not control.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email dean@cultured.digital and tell us the page address and what went wrong. We will aim to reply within 5 working days and to fix confirmed problems as soon as we reasonably can.

If you are not happy with our response

You can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). If you are outside the UK, email us at the address above and we will deal with your report in the same way.

Reviews
